Your Path to Health
An interactive prevention experience set in front of the European Parliament — bringing liver health closer to people across Europe.
Prevent Liver Health, Prevent Public Health
Liver disease is often silent, developing without symptoms until it reaches an advanced stage. Yet, many liver conditions are preventable, and early detection can save lives. This makes liver health not only a medical concern, but a shared public health priority across Europe.
Set in front of the European Parliament, the Liver Disease Prevention Village brings prevention closer to people. It offers a unique, interactive experience where visitors can take an active role in their health journey — learning, engaging, and accessing simple check-ups along the way.
As you follow the path through the Village, each gazebo represents a different aspect of liver health, from liver testing and screening to diabetes, cardiovascular, kidney, and cancer prevention. Together, they reflect an essential message: health is interconnected, and prevention works best when we look at the whole picture.
This initiative, led by the European Liver Patients' Association – ELPA, is made possible through the collaboration of European patient organisations and health partners, united in their commitment to raising awareness, promoting early detection, and improving lives.
